FIT INDIA SCHOOL QUIZ 2022
According to the above subject and reference letter, Fit India School Quiz 2022 has been organized to involve school children from across the country to promote the message of Fit India Movement among school children and increase its effectiveness in schools. Fit India Quiz strives to create awareness among students about centuries old indigenous sports, our sports heroes of the past and the history of traditional Indian sports while providing a national platform for students to showcase their knowledge of fitness and sports.
Students of all secondary and higher secondary schools, government, aided and private, can be registered in this quiz and students of class 8 of upper primary section can also participate. The school needs to be registered on the Fit India website to register for the quiz. If the school registration is not done then registration for the quiz will be done after first registering the school. Guidelines for the quiz are attached. In view of which all the schools of your district are requested to be encouraged to participate in the Fit Indla School Quiz 2022 from your level.
Restoration School Round
The school will select the students by conducting an internal quiz for the students of the school, and register the selected student for the preliminary round.• All schools will be given an opportunity to register for the preliminary round.
A school has to enter at least two students on the Fit India website (https://fitindia.gov.in) for quiz registration.
There will be a registration-fee of Rs 50/- per student for registration. The registration fee of maximum two students in a government school can be met from the school composite grant. An internal quiz will be organized for the selection of these two students.
Preliminary round
NTA round
Students registered for the quiz will compete through the online platform managed by NTA (National Testing Agency). The questions of this competition will be structured in such a way that the students of class 8th and above can answer them easily.
Provision will be made to hold questions in 13 languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi and Urdu).
For the students registered before the NTA round, details like link, username and password to join the quiz will be given to the school and the student. The NTA round will be of 30 minutes duration, with 60 questions of MCQ type. Each one is correct
4 marks will be awarded for each answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer (Negative Marking System) Evaluation of the student based on the score obtained by the student in the NTA round.
Will be decided. If more than one student gets the same score then the student who is younger on the basis of age will be considered ahead in merit. For the state level round from the schools whose name of the student will be merited

will qualify. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 32 schools will be selected for the next round from the meritorious schools as per the details given below.
• When more than one student from the same school is in the merit list, the next ranked student and his/her school will be given the nod to proceed to the next round.
Qualified schools will nominate one other student from their school as a quiz partner to form a two-member team for the state round. In case more than one student from a school is in the merit list, the second ranked student will automatically be part of this two-member team.
The details of the student nominated as a quiz partner will be provided by the qualified school on the Fit India website.
* Certificate will be awarded to the students participating in the preliminary round. Schools with maximum student participation will be honoured.
• State level round will be organized on well-planned digital platform for 4 to 32 teams from qualified schools. • Based on the number of qualified schools, the State Champion will be selected by holding rounds 1 to 12 at this level.
• All these rounds will be moderated by professional quiz masters, which will be broadcasted on social media platforms. Quizzes can be conducted in mixed languages by incorporating the local language. These quizzes may also include questions from local sports.
One team from each state or union territory makes a total of 36 school teams can go to the National Round.
As decided by the National level. National round will include various theme based questions as mentioned below. History of Indian Sports I Traditional Sports Yoga especially the traditional body fitness practices prevalent in India Questions on fitness based issues focusing on Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Concepts like 'phone a teather/parent' will also be included in the Asian Games, Khelo India Games and other popular sports at state and national rounds. The quiz will also have rounds like buzzer round, audio-video recognition round to make it interesting.
