Who can get the benefits?

The death of the main earner (female or male) of a family living below the poverty line, naturally or accidentally, is beneficial to the family.
The age of the male or female dying should be above 6 years and below 6 years.
Application must be made within 7 years after death.

What is the benefit?

• The family earning Rs. The assistance of Rs 2000

family living under the poverty line.
To avail the benefit of Sankat Mochan Yojana, the beneficiary has to apply within 2 years of death.

Required Documents to Avail Sankat Mochan Yojana Gujarat

• Beneficiaries registered under the Poverty Line (BPL) benefit under the “National Family Assistance Scheme” under the National Social Assistance Program. Assistance for this scheme is available in case of death of the main earning male / female who is above 18 years of age and under 60 years of age. • Any one proof of residence (election card / ration card etc.)

  2. પ્રાન્ત કચેરી
  3. તાલુકા મામલતદાર કચેરી અને જનસેવા કેન્દ્ર
  4. ગ્રામ પંચાયત કેન્દ્રના Gujarat Portal પર V.E.C. કો-ઓપરેટર પાસેથી Digital Gujarat પર ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરી શઅરજીપત્રક ક્યાં જમા કરાવવા :
  • આ ઓજના હેઠળ શહેરી કે ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તાર માટે સંબંધિત તાલુકા મામલતદારને અરજી કરવાની રહેશે.
  • લાભાર્થીને સહાયની રકમ લાભાર્થીના બૅન્ક ખાતામાં DBT દ્વારા જમા કરવવાની રહેશે.
  • આ યોજના હેઠળની રકમ મંજૂર કરવાની સંપૂર્ણ સતા તાલુકા મામલતદારશ્રી ને રહેશે.

Amount of assistance in Sankat Mochan YojanaUnder Sankat Mochan Yojana i.e. Rashtriya Kutumb Sahay Yojana Gujarat Yojana, a lump sum assistance of Rs. 20,000 / – is paid to the family of the deceased earner through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Note:

Certificate for BPL score for beneficiaries who are included in the BPL (Poverty Line Below List) prepared by the government on the basis of social and economic survey as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Rural Development for the beneficiaries in rural areas and beneficiaries in urban areas. Beneficiaries included in the list prepared by the Ministry.

If the application for Sankat Mochan Yojana (National Family Assistance) is rejected by the Mamlatdar of that area, an appeal can be made against it to the concerned provincial officer within 60 days.
Under Crisis Relief Scheme, only Rs. Assistance of 20000 / – (twenty thousand) is available.
