When will schools and colleges start functioning in Gujarat?

Ahmedabad: The Vijay Rupani government of Gujarat has announced that a decision will be taken later on when schools and colleges will be started in the state.  Unlock 6, which came after the lockdown imposed by the Narendra Modi government at the Center from March 26, expires on November 30. It has been announced that Unlock 7 will be applicable from December 1 to December 31.  Guidelines for this have been issued by the State Government.
It has been announced in this guideline that a decision will be taken later on when to start schools and colleges in the state.  Earlier, the Rupani government had announced to start school-colleges from November 23 but the decision was canceled due to increasing cases of corona in the state.  Now the decision to start schools and colleges will be taken only after the condition of Corona improves.

The guideline clarifies that restaurants, hotels and malls will have to continue as per the guideline issued by the Central Government's Department of Health and Family Welfare from June 4.  Gym and yoga classes can be kept open as per the SOP of the Central Government.  Cinemas, theaters, multiplexes outside the content zone can be maintained at 50 per cent seating capacity and SOP.

It was further clarified that the swimming pool will be closed, but it can be used as per SOP for athletes and trainers.  Business-to-business exhibitions outside the content zone will be held as per the SOP issued by the Commerce Department on November 15.  Libraries can be maintained at 60 per cent capacity.
