The Citizen of the state who wish to apply for Scheme First of all, they have to Fill the Vahali Dikri Application form. This is a new initiative under the Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Yojana. To avail the benefits of the scheme, you have to contact with concerned district officer for women and child.


According to the scheme, the State Government will pay Rs. 4,000 to every girl child at the time of admission to Standard 4th, Rs. 6,000 at the time of taking admission to Standard IX, Rs. 1-lakh at the time of taking admission for higher education at the age of 18 and another Rs. 1-lakh at the time of marriage. It is a statewide cash incentive scheme for every girl child born in Gujarat.

To Improve the Birth Ratio, Increase the Education Ration of Girls, to save the future of Girls and to promote Girl Child Birth Gujarat Government has announced to start Vahali Dikri Yojana (Dear Daughter Scheme). Under the Scheme Government will Pay three times Financial support to the parents of girls. The incentive under Daughter Scheme will be given for first and second daughters of the family. Vahali Dikri Scheme will definitely prevent female feticide, promote the education of girls and provide a substantial sum to fund for higher education and wedding of girls.

Wait for sometime as the state govt. is concerned on implementation of Gujarat Vahli Dikari Yojana. Aug 03, 2019, 9:22AM Gujarat CM launches ‘Vhali Dikri Yojna’ AIR Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has launched the ‘Vhali Dikri Yojna’ from his home town Rajkot yesterday. The scheme for the welfare of girl child has been launched to mark the 63th birth day of Chief Minister. It is a statewide cash incentive scheme for every girl child born in Gujarat, with a view to raising the female birthrate at par with male to achieve gender equality. According to scheme, the State Government will pay Rs. 4,000 to every girl child at the time of admission to Standard 4th, Rs. 6,000 at the time of taking admission to Standard IX, Rs. 1-lakh at the time of taking admission for higher education at the age of 18 and another Rs. 1-lakh at the time of marriage. The Scheme was launched at a function in Rajkot as a part of Seva Setu Mega Camp jointly organized by the district administration and Municipal Corporation. Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Rupani said that Rs.133-crore has been allocated for this scheme. He said that the birth of a girl child in the state is welcome and in no case can female feticide be tolerated. AIR correspondent reports that assistance under various welfare schemes have been handed over to 63 beneficiaries to mark the day.
