Relief to students: Gujarat Board 9 to 12 course reduced by 30%, due to Corona,
At the time of making this announcement, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has claimed that the least corruption is in Gujarat. He said that while Gujarat has got a weapon like digital service bridge to reduce corruption, corruption will be reduced in the coming days.

Universities and schools across the country have been closed since 16 March 16 when the central government announced a countrywide classroom shutdown as one of the measures to contain the Covid-19 outbreak. Later, a nationwide lockdown was imposed from 25 March in order to combat the virus. While the government has eased several restrictions, schools and colleges continue to remain closed at least till 31 July until further orders from the Centre.
In Class 12, the topic of India's relations with its neighbours has been deleted, along with sections on social movements, regional aspirations, the changing nature of India's economic development, and the Planning Commission. Business Studies students will not study the concept of demonetization, Goods and Services Tax, or the impact of government policy changes on business with special reference to liberalization, privatization and globalization in India. In History classes, students will not study chapters on understanding partition, or on peasants, zamindars and the State.

The economic and educational situation has deteriorated due to the lockdown and the subsequent spread of the Corona. All the schools in the country were closed for more than 6 months. Due to which the education of the children was stopped or it was done through online medium. However, the online medium was new to our country and neither the students nor the parents were able to adapt to it properly.Due to which there was news of relief for the students who could not get co-ordination with this course by the government. Decided in the interest of students and parents. Held 4 meetings with the Board of Secondary Education. The dilemma regarding the standard 10 and 12 examinations was discussed with the academics under the instruction and guidance of the Chief Minister. It was also announced that the standard 10 and 12 examinations will be held on May 21. The standard 9 and 11 exams will be held in June.However, the curriculum will be cut by 30 per cent by the education department. Students will have to focus on 70 percent of the curriculum. Board exams will be held in May 2021. In addition, special instructions have been given to the higher officials that nothing can be asked outside the course. This is good news for students in a way.
