They breathed their last at 2.45am in the middle of the night. With the demise of Chundiwala Mataji alias Prahladbhai Jani, the wave of grief has turned again in Ambaji. He died at his hometown Charada. For the last 80 years, Chundiwala Mataji has been living without food and water. He gave up food and water at the age of 11. He will be taken to his ashram at Ambar's Gabbar on Wednesday for a final visit. Samadhi will be given to Chundiwala Mataji on Thursday 28th May at 8.15 am.
Mataji's life was also a great research for scientists. However, even scientists did not succeed in understanding his life. They had given up food and water since they were only 11 years old.
