If you satisfy the eligibility criteria to become a voter, procure a Form 6 issued by the Election Commission of India for registration of a name in the electoral list. You will have to procure different forms if you wish to change your address or details in an existing Voter ID. Remember, you cannot enrol yourself as a voter in two different constituencies.

It has been a constant endeavour of the ECI to prepare a pure and healthy Electoral Roll for the country with People’s participation. Today, ECI is launching ‘Electors Verification Programme’ wherein Voters are requested to verify themselves with an additional document, rectify errors in their particular, change photographs, remove multiple entries of their names (If Any), and link the family members living together.
