Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.
Coronavirus Tracking App 'Oroga Bridge' has become the fastest downloading application. According to Arnit Kumar, Director of Programming Frontier Technology Director G of the NITI Aayog, this app has 5 million active users. 1.1 million users have downloaded the app after the Prime Minister appealed to the country to download the app on April 14.
'Pokemon Go' broke the record
The 'Health Bridge' app broke the record of 'Pokemon Go' in the download. The Pokemon Go app received 5 million downloads in 19 days while the 'Health Set' app received 5 million downloads in 13 days.
Baj referred to the application in the Prime Minister's address on April 14, downloading the application 1 million times every minute during that period on Tuesday morning, and by midnight, the application has been downloaded a total of 5 million times. According to Arnab Kumar, 5 million downloads were expected on April 15 but 1 day. That target has already been reached. On April 14, the application was downloaded 1.1 million times.
'Health Bridge' application
The Health Bridge app is a coronavirus tracking application. It tracks coronavirus infections based on location and GPS and informs users about the risk. The application has several features, including coronavirus risk, case updates and self-assessment. The app supports a total of 11 languages including Gujarati, English, Hindi. The app will soon issue an e-pass to exit for lockdown time. The app works on operating systems, both Android and iOS
